CEIBS Alumni Finance and Investment Club holds its first council meeting at 16:00 on 19th April, 2008 in CEIBS Shanghai Campus. Council members, including Chen Wenjiang (MBA98), Chen Zhilie(EMBA04), Li Daobin(EMBA07), Lian Kai(EMBA07), Liu Weizhi(EMBA99), Sun Yigong(EMBA04), Wen Wu(EMBA04), Xu Zhilin(EMBA05), Yan Yimin(EMBA04), Yang Maijun(EMBA07)and the pre-general secretary, Zhang Weiming(EMBA95) attend this meeting along with Professor Zhu Xiaoming, Professor Wu Jinglian, Professor Zhang Chun, Professor Zhou Dongshen zhen, Professor Dingyuan and Li May from Alumni Relations Office.

The meeting passes the agreement that Mr. Yan Maijun will take the post of director of the first council and Mr. Zhang Yaolin and Mr. Chen Zhilie as the vice-director respectively. Mr. Wen Wu will hold the position of general-secretary and Mr. Liu Weizhi, Mr. Lu Feng, Mr. Sun Yigong and Mr. Lian Kai as vice general secretary. The constitution of Club is modified and the close events and activities are planed, including:

May: Speech of Agricultural products
June: Investment speech
July: Venture Capital investment speech
Aug: Stock Index Futures and Insurance speech
Sep: Investment speech
Nov: Investment under the high Inflation

Finally, the meeting announces that the Club will start to prepare an e-version magazine for Finance and Investment of which Mr. Lian Kai will be the chief editor and Mr. Lufeng and Sun Yigong will provide the related data information.
