Some 200 alumni and students gather in the Petrochemical Auditorium of CEIBS Shanghai Campus at night of 12th April to attend the first investment speech of year 2008 organized by Alumni Finance and Investment Club ?“The rose of Time - Chinese personal fortune management”. Associate Dean, Professor Zhou Dongsheng attends this event as well.

After a short welcome speech by MC, Mr. Lian Kai (Student of EMBA07 and the member of club council), general secretary, alumnus of EMBA04, Mr. Wen Wu introduces the new-voted members of Alumni Finance and Investment Club to audience along with a brief analysis of the main economic index of global economy.

Where after, guest speaker, student of EMBA 07, Mr. Dan Bin starts his key note speech. Firstly, the speaker shares a variety of background data with audience under the global and history angle of view, including the yield of different capital, the risk of share market, the yield of main capital of global area and the comparison between America and China for the latest 200 years. Through the analysis of previous and current investment examples such as Walmart, Vanke and Moutai, Mr. Dan Bin presents a unique stock-chosen strategy: Carefully choose the company, make detail business and finance analysis and evaluate the business value, internal value and marginal safety. “Time is the most valuable capital”, he said.

Long-term investment is the key concept of Mr. Dan’s speech, the Humane care spirit and confidence for Chinese powerful future also generate effective impression to audience.
