After an extremely unusual winter which is full of heavy snow and cold wind, Shanghai is now ready to embrace the lovely spring. At the very beginning of “Mouse Year”, CEIBS Alumni Tennis Club organized a yearly Tennis champion ?“CEIBS ?KBC GOLDSTATE 2008 Tennis Open Tournament”, which attracts some 30 tennis players to join, including members of CEIBS Alumni Tennis Club and students tennis players.
The champion starts on the afternoon of 24th Feb when all the players compete by group to fight for the advance of three items: Junior male single, senior male single and male double. After the intense rivalry on 24th Feb for the first match and 2nd Mar for the final match, Jiang Hao / Liu Jian, Fang Guang / Yang Guangze and Chen Kai / Li Yong acquire the third place, runner-up and the champion of male double match respectively; Zhou Qin and Samuel obtain the second and first place of junior male single match and Jiang Hao, Li Yong and Chen Kai win the senior male single match for the third, second and first place.
The great appreciation will be offered to the senior member of Alumni Tennis Club, Mr. Chen Kai, with the sponsorship of KBC Goldstate Fund Management Co.,Ltd, the new member of club, Mr. Wu Dawei with the booking of VIP match court and all participants of this match.
