Prof. Ding Yuan was invited to Nanjing Alumni Chapter to deliver a talk on stock marketing on Nov. 10th, 2007. Over 100 alumni and friends from Nanjing and Hefei attended the talk on the 29th floor of Hua Tai Securities Building in Nanjing. A couple of CEIBS alumni are senior executives in Hua Tai Nanjing office. They made great contribution to this event. Some finance and investment professionals in alumni’s company were also invited to join the talk in order to enhance their investment knowledge and skill.

Mr. Gerald Wang, the secretary-general of Nanjing chapter hosted the event and introduced the professor Ding to all audience. Dr. Ding Yuan owns excellent background and experience on Finance and Accounting, in his talk, with many examples in the market, he emphasis that his SEVEN criterion on how to select and judge good company. His speech covered investment methodology, selection criterion and selling out.  Beside A share and H share, he first time mentioned Singapore stock market, and share a few his findings recently. Following his talk, one of senior analyst in Hu Tai also gave a presentation on investment strategy from viewpoint of analytical professional.
