3rd Nov, CEIBS Shanghai Campus meets one of the most important days in this year.Executive president-Professor Pedro Nueno ,President-Professor Zhu Xiaoming, , Vice president-Professor Zhang Weijiong and nearly 400 alumni attend the yearly festival-CEIBS Alumni Reunion day, the day which welcomes CEIBS alumni around the world to come back home.
About 2:10 pm, a full house of audiences in Petrochemical auditorium applaud together to welcome the speech of President Zhu Xiaoming after vice-president Zhang Weijiong, the MC offers a short but heartfelt salutatory. President Zhu Xiaoming firstly congratulates the alumni who acquire significant honor recently ? Miss Dong Mingzhu, Mr. Yuan Guangyu and Mr. Wang Yupu along with a brief report about the newest development of CEIBS. Secondly, the president highlights the work of Alumni Association and announces that Executive President Pedro and President Zhu Xiaoming will hold the position as the dual-chairmen of Alumni Association when President Liu Ji, Vice-president Cremer and Vice-president Zhang Weijiong will be the honorable -chairman and vice-chairmen respectively. Thirdly, President Zhu proposes three suggestions relating to Alumni Association development: 1)support the alumni before obtaining support from alumni;2) act as the efficient platform and channel ;3) provide deep-service, featured-service and customized-service. Finally, the president expresses the soulful wish for every alumnus: support school, be responsible to the society and wholly develop, which wins applaud again from all participants.
Afterward, Executive President Pedro makes a brilliant speech relating to alumni brand building of CEIBS. According to the difficulty to be as the CEIBS alumni due to the severe examination system, painful study process and time consuming, it’s no doubt that CEIBS alumni are not only the asset for both individual and school, but also relate to renowned brand. Alumni network building is one of the most crucial criteria to evaluate the Global leading business school, which means either school or alumni should positively support the construction of this relationship.
The talk between alumni of 1996 and students of 2006 starts its prologue under the invitation of MC, alumnus Fang Guang.
