Under the great support of CEIBS alumni association and CEIBS alumni auto club, the visiting event organized by auto club starts its sixth stage of the series activities named “Search the development of Chinese local auto industry” in Guangzhou and Liuzhou in order to deeply understand the developing mode of local auto corporation and JV’s operation mode, interact with the advanced industry leaders and search the unique evolution strategy for the Chinese own auto brand. During these three days, six auto giants, including Guangzhou-Honda, Guangzhou-Toyota, Dongfeng-Nissan, Guangxi Liugong, Liuzhou SGMW and Dongfeng Liuzhou are visited. As the elites of auto industry in these two provinces, the struggle, innovation and expanding of these corporation generates an impressive image to visitors.
As the first step of this journey, Guangzhou Toyota, which is established in Sep, 2004 under the Joint-Venture between Guangzhou Auto Corporation and Japan Toyota, holds the champion of middle and high automotives in total sales amount about 100000 during the first four months in 2007. TPM, which is pound by TOYOTA in precise production area, show its great advantages in production advantages.
Guangzhou Honda, as the second step, is also a joint-venture between Guangzhou Auto Corporation and Japan Honda and releases some 18 auto modes including the renowned Accord, Odyssey, Fit and City series. The production line and R&D of Guangzhou Honda also generate attractive sense to the visitors.
As the final step of Guangzhou visiting, Dongfeng-Nissan also attracts the eyeballs of visitors by showing it’s advanced production line, technique centre and R&D capacity. Plus, an interactive discussion is made under the subjects about culture combination and conflict between China and Japan Corporation, the strategy marking direction and developing management.

Other three auto giants in Liuzhou hold different position in Chinese auto industry as they mainly focus on commercial auto rather than personal vehicles. Dongfeng Liuzhou Auto, as the first auto corporation in Guangxi Province, produces a variety of commercial auto and has output around 100000 per year.
Liuzhou-SGMV, which covers some 200 modes in compact commercial auto, mini van, multipurpose vehicle and off-road vehicle, exhibit its strong R&D power and multi-channel management system.
Guangxi Liugong, the only one corporation which does not involve in auto industry, holds stable proposition in the area of truck and engineering vehicle in the worldwide. The conclusion of this event is made during the dinner party holding by Liuzhou government.
