On Feb. 23rd, 2006, CEIBS alumni finance & investment club had its first gathering in the New Year and started the ¡°CEIBS alumni investment and financing projects special zone¡± jointly with CEIBS alumni entrepreneur club. Over seventy alumni took part in the gathering.
The projects zone was launched as a new channel for the projects¡¯ development and expansion. Through this channel, alumni will be able to make analysis on the investment proposals, expand the project pool, and solve the problems on government policies. During the gathering, there was a full discussion on ¡°special zone¡± among all participants. The representatives from two clubs promised that they would try the beat to serve the alumni by continuous networking service, membership-based salons and other alumni-only services.
Ms. Li Zhengrong, the director of CEIBS alumni relations office hosted the kick-off ceremony. She spoke highly of the innovative idea of ¡°special zone¡± and announced that the CEIBS alumni association would like to support such activities as always. The secretary general of the alumni auto club and the alumni information & media club were also invited to take part in the ceremony.
