In the afternoon of June 10th 2006, CEIBS Snooker Club kick-off ceremony and its first members¡¯ match were held in SINUO snooker club in Shanghai. Over twenty alumni, students and guests took part in the opening ceremony and the match.
On the ceremony, Mr. Li Yanzuo (EMBA043 alumnus), the director of CEIBS logistic department announced the establishment of the snooker club and the name list of the council members.

The council members come from EMBA, MBA and Diploma programs. The newly elected president Mr. Liu Xinyuan began to recruit new members, he hoped that CEIBS alumni could make good use of this new platform.
The club invited two guests Mr. Xiao Ding and Mr. Li Nan to be the advisors, coaching members how to play and improve skills. Both of them have won the big prizes in many key national matches. The sponsor for the first members¡¯ match was supported by Ningbo Fotile Kitchen Utensils Limited Corporation.
