The CEIBS Alumni Relations Office has recently launched the ¡°Great minds ? New horizon ? Pressing issues¡± forum exclusively for CEIBS alumni. On April 9, approximately one hundred participants attended the speech given by Dr. CaoYuanzheng£¬the Chief Economist & BOD member of the Bank of China International Holdings Limited.  Dr. Cao was invited by the Alumni Relations Office to deliver the first speech of this forum, which was named ¡°M & A ? New means for FDI in China¡±.

A few topics that Dr. Cao touched upon in the forum was the situation of FDI in China, the impacts of the China¡¯s ascension into the WTO on M&A, on laws and regulations on M&A, and the trends and forecast for M&A development in China.  After the speech, there was a question and answer period that allowed participants to ask M&A related questions regarding securitization, foundations of industry investments, and so on.
