On December 19th, 2003, Mr. Kong Xiangdong, the famous pianist living in U.S.A, came to CEIBS as the first speaker of the alumni cultivation forum. Mr. Kong is a good speaker, sharing his experience on playing the piano. Although he is young, he has been awarded a couple of national and international prizes with his intelligence. In his speech, he also mentioned his mother and his teacher Mr. Fan Dalei, who influenced him the most in his entire art life.

Mr. Kong Xiangdong devoted himself to music education after returning to China. He was appointed the professor by many universities. He has successfully set up the "Kong Xiangdong music center" in Shanghai, Beijing and Suzhou since 1997.

At last, Mr. Kong played one of his famous works < Yellow River> and <The Dream of Love> as the ending of the forum.
