In the summer of 2005, everyone paid close attention to the TV show ¡°Super Voice, Super Girl¡±. It is definitely the most popular TV program in this year. Behind the curtain, there¡¯s a expert team consisting of sales specialists and media professionals. They made a wonderful mixture of Mengniu, Hu¡¯nan STV and Palm Computer. The team leader is Mr. Sun Jun, a native Shanghainese. He graduated from Shanghai Foreign Language University at early 90s and received his EMBA in CEIBS at late 90s.
On Nov.12th, CEIBS Alumni Marketing Association will be inviting Mr. Sun Jun to have a close interaction with our alumni to talk about this successful case.

Sun Jun: EMBA97 alumnus Ten years ago, Sun Jun worked in Kodak as a regional sales manager as well as branding manager of Greater China. He helped Kodak to increse its market share from 14% to 60% and open thousands of franchise shops. After leaving Kodak, he tried twice to start his own career, but both failed. In 2003, Sun Jun joined in Tetrapak as key account manager and start to deal with Mengniu. He joined in Mengniu as liquid milk director since June 2004. He increased market share of milk from 8% to 25% within 10 months, and the sales of Yogurt milk increased from 0.7 bn to 2.5 bn. In May 2005, he became the Deputy General Manager of Palm which is the mobile message service provider of ¡°Super Voice, Super Girl¡±. ¡°¡¯Super voice, super girl¡¯ is a brand new marketing case in China. In the past, the TV show was only a platform or marketing channel for products or services. In this case, the interaction between the show and audience just began. The audiences were able to decide players¡¯ future according to their taste. In the past 15 years, Sun Jun has worked in four types of companies, all specialized in marketing and innovation.
