CEIBS Alumni Association Hong Kong & Macau Alumni Chapter was officially established on August 26th 2004 Hong Kong East Mandarin Hotel. Dr Bert Bernnet, President of CEIBS, Prof. Zhang Guohua, Vice President of CEIBS, and Ms Li Zhengrong, Director of CEIBS alumni relation office, together with over 20 alumni from Hong Kong and other places attended the launching ceremony.
 
Though Prof. Zhang Guohua looked very exhausted due to his overseas trip, he still insisted in talking with alumni about the future of the school during the ceremony. The alumni were deeply moved by his enthusiasm, they told him that CEIBS is just like a big family and the graduates are the children of the family.
 
After the remarks of the President Bert and Ms Li Zhengrong, the newly-elected head of the chapter, Mr. Wang Shuaiting introduced the core members of chapter committee to all participants; he also took the chance to announce that they will try very hard to offer the best services and supports to the members and the school in the future.
