After careful preparation by alumni in Najing, CEIBS Alumni Associate Nanjing Chapter came into establishment in Jingling Hotel, Nanjing on December 10th, 2003.

Prof. Xi Kaiyuan, Director of CEIBS Research Center for Science of Behavior, started the opening ceremony with the keynote speech on ¡°The Study of Happiness- The development trend of Economy Study¡±, which is one of his long-time research results. The lecture covered the area of Economy and its development trend under the influence of psychology. He thought that the ultimate goal that people pursue is happiness, not money and we need a clearly cut theory to study how to pursue maximum happiness and this is also the a new trend in the study of Economy.

Following the lecture on happiness is the grand presentation of Nanjing Chapter management team blessed by the congratulations and wishes from CEIBS management committee. Participating alumni and students also made self-introductions full of their own characteristics in a sensational atmosphere.

CEIBS Alumni Associate Nanjing Chapter, together with the chapters in Suzhou and Wuxi have formed a network for alumni in Jiangsu province by facilitating the communication and co-operation between the alumni.
